At the lodge we are so pleased to have home son-in-law, Captain Benjamin Gray, who was serving as a rescue helicopter pilot in Alaska's Air National Guard, deployed to Afghanistan for 6 months last summer. Ben will be back at the lodge delighting guests with his impeccable skills with the airplanes through the entire 2013 season.
Also this year Paul Claus was awarded the Certificate of Excellence from the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) for his contributions to the Flight Safety Initiative.
