Off-the-Grid Creature Comforts 

The attention to detail and wild charm of each cabin instantly makes you feel at ease. Every touch of civilization was either hand made on site or thoughtfully selected and flown here by the Claus family. It’s hard to picture that armchair strapped into the back of the little plane you rode in. Or the wrought-iron stove.

Each handcrafted cabin has a unique arrangement, some with two bedrooms, one room boasting an over-stuffed King size feather bed, a full bathroom and a sitting room with amazing views of the Chitina River and surrounding mountains. Although we are 'off the grid', all of our cabins have 24-hour electricity and running hot water which is a real nod to our crew for making this happen day in and day out.
